In this introduction to the Improv Mindset, you’ll become more expressive, confident, and positively playful as you learn the concepts of short-form improvisation games and how to apply them on the theater stage, as well as on the stage of life!
Together, we’ll create a relaxed and supportive space where we’ll focus on developing trust in yourself and others, story-telling, scene structure, and teamwork.
Over 8 hilarious, laugh-a-minute classes, we’ll explore how to build a story, how to develop character, use of space and pantomime, finding the ‘game’ of a scene, developing a group-mind, playing with status, making spontaneous choices, and taking risks, all while having a blast and making new connections with fun-loving people.
At the end of the course, students will get the chance to show off their newfound Improv skills by putting on a performance for an invited audience of friends and family!
The class will meet in Mitte once a week for 2 hours and 45 minutes per session.
We can’t wait to laugh and learn with you! If you have any questions at all, just get in touch!
Cheers, and Happy Improvising!
