In this 2nd phase of the ‘Live to Play’ Series, participants will expand their Improv Mindset and add to their toolbox of techniques to create hilarious, fast, action-driven improv both on stage, and in their own day-to-day lives!
Together, we’ll create a relaxed and supportive space where we’ll focus on the art of connection and building relationships, creating stories that thrive on action and reaction, and expanding your repertoire of performance-ready Short-Form Improv Games.
Over 8 lively, laugh-a-minute classes, we’ll explore how to play with status, finding the joy in spontaneity and living in the moment, harnessing major plot-lines used in story-telling, how to inhabit different character archetypes, and creating urgency to make rich, memorable, and joyful stories, all while playing the hilarious Improv Games which have become the standards of Short Form Improv, many of which can be seen on the wildly popular TV show, “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?”
At the end of the course, students will get the chance to show off their newfound Improv skills by putting on a performance for an invited audience of friends and family!
The class will meet in Mitte once a week for 2 hours and 45 minutes per session.
We can’t wait to laugh and learn with you! If you have any questions at all, just get in touch!
Cheers, and Happy Improvising!
